Coronavirus Update 2022

Dear customers –

We realise that events out of our control meant some of your weddings have been cancelled – be it the venues or guests unable to travel from abroad.

As this was also out of our control we’ve rearranged and postponed where possible. We have mostly been able avoid the majority of clients cancelling altogether.

We have honoured all bookings possible and rescheduled where we could. We managed to take a few couples to their days in 2021 after all.

Even now, as we look forward to being back to normal service in 2022 and beyond, these past 2 years have devastated the industry and also so many of you as couples looking to be married.

Seeing as we have no crystal ball and cannot say with any certainty that we will never be locked down again we have changed our booking process. Instead of the standard £100 deposit on confirming your booking we will now only take a £25.00 booking fee.

This is non-refundable and covers our administration costs, i.e. preparing and calculating a quote, but also including the time and fuel involved in the recce of your locations if they cannot go ahead or if we cannot access them on checking out, e.g. a farm track we are unable to take the classic cars down.

We believe this approach minimises any potential disputes over deposits and minimises losses on both sides so  keeping everyone as happy as possible in difficult situations we have no hand in.

The 6 monthly part payment and the 30 day balance requirement for the day is no longer applicable.

To minimise losses and disappointment again on both sides we now only ask for the balance 1 week (7 days) before your ceremony.

If there are any changes at all to your booking we still urge you to get in touch as soon as possible.

We recommend if it is possible to obtain wedding insurance to cover any such eventuality as well as the cars being unavailable on the day.
